The First Edition of the Tiko Council Sports and Cultural Jamboree has taken place Thursday September 02 2021. The event saw the cosmopolitan population of Tiko Municipality showcase traditional Dances, Fashion Parade, Traditional Wrestling, live performance and more as part of this maiden edition.

The event that took place at the esplanade of the Tiko Council equally saw the award of back to school assistance to some meritorious pupils in the municipality, and conclusion of the Tiko Council Holiday Job program that engage over 250 youths between July and August.

The Mayor of the Tiko Council HRH Chief Peter Ikome Mesoso III used the opportunity to officially present Best Mayor Awards he recently won to the Administration and receive the recognition of Knight of the Cameroon Order of Merit.
