In other to ensure safety of it’s properties due to the prevailing insecurity in the region,Tiko council has taking a bold step to guarantee the safety of persons in markets and public places throughout the Municipality.

The Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III after sensitising the traders of Tiko market on vigilance at this time whereby explosives are ramphant, he later went ahead by protecting public properties with the Costain Grandstand by blocking the empty spaces with blocks and improving on the lightening situation.

This to the chief Shepherd of Tiko municipality will go a long way to make the area safe from attacks by unidentified Gun men as the Grañdstand is host to all official events in Tiko Municipality

The denizens of Tiko municipality have received these actions by the Mayor of Tiko Council timely as celebration marking the international women’s Day is around the corner.
