Construction works on the bridge in Likomba over the Ndongo River will soon be completed as there is hope that anytime soon bikes, cars, heavy duty trucks will be transporting goods and persons through the bridge.

The population has been appreciating Tiko Council under the stewardship of the Lord Mayor of Tiko municipality, HRH Chief Peter Ikome Mesoso III for the good job they have been doing to the inhabitants of Likomba and just like Oliver Twist, they plead for more development works to be carried out in Likomba.

The new bridge will further ease movement as the bridge links to the Likomba market which many faced difficulty easily transporting goods to and from the market.

It should be noted that of recent during an evaluation meeting of the Fako Divisional PIB Committee, Tiko Council was applauded by the members for the wonderful job they have been doing as concern PIB projects in Fako Division.
