Tiko Council under the stewardship of HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III last Thursday August 10,2023 organised a local Handicraft Exhibition at the Tiko Council esplanade.

The heavily attended exhibition exercise of talents that brought some Registered Crafters of Tiko Municipality to showcase their various decorative products which were made with their hands, was chaired by the First Deputy Mayor of Tiko Council, Honourable Efite Andrew, in presence of the chief of Administration Tiko Council, Mme Achanga Carolinda Bih, chief of Socio Cultural at the Councillor, Mr Douala Dipita, the representative of the Divisional Delegate of Small and Medium seize Enterprise, Social Economy and Handicrafts Fako, Mme Mbola Sonia, some staff of the Tiko Council amongst others.

After a visit and examination of the various stands by members of the Jury, Seven crafters were selected to represent Tiko Municipality and compete with crafters from other Municipalities at the Fako Divisional level in Limbe in the months ahead.

Worthy to note, those that will be selected at the Divisional level will go to Yaounde for the National Exhibition slated for 2024.
